5 Reasons Why Cleveland Cavaliers Don't Stand a Chance To Win 2015 NBA Finals

The Cleveland Cavaliers have overachieved this season. That much is definitely true, and they deserve praise for doing so after a tumultuous year full of coaching drama, disgruntled superstars and unfortunate injury luck. LeBron James is focused on winning a championship, and that is why I am giving the Cavaliers a shot to extend this series to six games. Ultimately though, they do not have any hope to win the NBA Finals.

Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green and Shaun Livingston are just a few of the bodies that the Golden State Warriors can throw at LeBron. James will also get double-teamed at times, but overall I expect Golden State to play the four-time MVP straight up. They have the defensive capability to slow LeBron down that the Atlanta Hawks lacked.

For a player who averaged 21.7 PPG, 5.2 APG and 3.2 RPG during the regular season, Kyrie Irving has been a shell of himself in the playoffs. He is obviously struggling with injuries to both of his legs, and I expect his troubles to continue against the Warriors.

Stephen Curry has amazingly increased his scoring average from the regular season (23.8 PPG) to the playoffs (29.2 PPG) in a series of stunning performances. He is putting to rest any debate there was over the NBA MVP award, and the Cavaliers will be his next victim.

Trevor Ariza's knee had quite an impact on Klay Thompson's head, and I sincerely hope the SG makes a full recovery from the concussion he sustained during that play. Thompson has plenty of time to get ready for Game 1 of the Finals. You can expect him to average over 20 PPG in a matchup against Iman Shumpert that he will take advantage of quite a bit.

James will not be able to get away with playing isolation basketball the way that he did against Atlanta (and at times the Chicago Bulls). Steve Kerr will simply not allow it to happen that way, and you can bet the rookie head coach will be locked in the film room until Thursday night. The Cavaliers must play much better basketball to even win one game against Golden State.
