Fantasy: 3 players to target in a trade

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Every Tuesday, we examine three players you should consider targeting by trade in your fantasy league. Analysis based on standard 10-team, 5x5 formats.
We're less than three weeks into the start of the season, which means any expectations or conclusions you might have about teams and players should be tempered. With that being said, it's never too early to identify areas for improvement.
Here are three players who might be more available than they should be:

Adrian Beltre, 3B, Texas Rangers

2015RHRRBISBAVG
Beltre7110.151
The Rangers' 36-year-old third baseman is in the midst of a three-year decline in homers, runs, isolated power, RBIs and slugging. The lineup he hits in offers little in terms of so-called protection and his position is deeper with the emergence of Nolan Arenado, arrival of Kris Bryant and resurrection of Alex Rodriguez.
Now copy and paste that into an email and make your competitor an offer.
Beltre didn't hit a homer last season until May 6 and hit .255 with a .686 OPS during the first month, before ending the year with the best slash line and adjusted value in the majors at third base.
The four-time All-Star has been victimized by an unlucky .146 BABIP - more than half his career average - and is hitting way more infield flies than usual. As a consensus third rounder in drafts, Beltre won't come cheap, so wait for his next 0-for game and make your opponent an offer they can't refuse. He simply won't be this bad. Get him before he's that good.

Anibal Sanchez, SP, Detroit Tigers

2015W-LIPSOERAWHIP
Sanchez1-216.1177.711.47
Glass half empty: Sanchez has surrendered 14 earned runs in his last two starts, allowed more homers (five) than he did all of last year (four), and he's giving up a whopping 11 hits per nine innings.
Glass half full: He's striking out batters at the second highest clip of his career (small sample alert), his groundball-to-flyball ratio is incredibly out of whack and he's on a good enough team to get him some wins even when he's not at his best.
Drink the Kool-Aid. If you're weak on starting pitching, Sanchez is worth the buy-low flier. Target an owner with a glaring hole and make this a needs-for-needs swap.

Starling Marte, OF, Pittsburgh Pirates

2015RHRRBISBAVG
Marte64102.178
Marte will be tough to wrestle away, so this offer will require a substantial return (think top-25 pitcher, J.D. Martinez-type, etc.). Remember, you're not trading for a .178 hitter with two steals - Marte could potentially hit 20 homers, swipe 30 bags, score 80 runs and hit .270 this season. Only one outfielder (Carlos Gomez) did that in 2014.
The young Pirates outfielder is already showing career-best power, his BABIP is 100 points lower than it probably should be and he's among the league leaders in hard-hit balls.
Who wouldn't want this swing in their lineup?
