Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout added another accomplishment to his ridiculously extensive resume Friday night against the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.
Trout, the reigning American League MVP, blasted a two-run shot in the sixth inning for the 100th home run of his young career, and consequently became the youngest player in history to record 100 home runs and 100 stolen bases - a feat accomplished by only 228 players in the history of the game.
The three-time All-Star reached the illustrious plateau at 23 years, 251 days old, making him just 58 days younger than Alex Rodriguez was when he joined the 100-100 club, according to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register.
