Tampa Bay says... No Baseball for you!
By Danny B Sports

One of the question marks surrounding Jameis Winston was whether he'd play baseball alongside being an NFL quarterback. Winston was a two-sport athlete throughout his career, and there were consistent rumblings that he wanted to try to be Bo Jackson or Deion Sanders -- a star in both sports. That's a concern, because it's one thing to do that as a running back or cornerback, and another entirely to do it as a quarterback.
We can now put that question to rest, though, as Peter King reports that his contract contains a clause prohibiting him from playing baseball while he's employed by the Buccaneers. That may be renegotiated in his next deal, but for now the Bucs have five years where they don't have to worry about that issue.
Which is good. You don't want your quarterback to hold the prospect of playing baseball over your head, the way Russell Wilson has been doing with the Seattle Seahawks. Your face of the franchise has to be a face of your franchise, after all. Not that of a baseball team.

Harbaugh upset with ESPN
By Danny B Sports

By Matt Hladik
News emerged nearly three weeks ago that Lou Holtz and ESPN were parting ways after a decade together. Holtz was an integral part of ESPN’s College Football Final and a college football fixture due to his TV role and head coaching stints at South Carolina, Notre Dame, Minnesota, Arkansas and elsewhere.
Forgive Jim Harbaugh if he didn’t know about Holtz’s departure from ESPN, as he’s probably been pretty busy of late. But when the Michigan head coach finally did hear the news Saturday night, he was not too happy.
"Just heard Lou Holtz is no longer at ESPN Ridiculous! Saturday's won't be the same, Love Lou Holtz! Chris Fowler not on Game Day, Flummoxed," Harbaugh tweeted.
The news about Fowler not being on game day isn’t new either, as ESPN announced in February that Davis would be replacing him. Things have certainly changed on ESPN since Harbaugh last coached in college back in 2010.

How did your NFL Team make out last night?.. Check out the 1st round picks
By Danny B Sports

Just like that, the opening night of the 2015 NFL Draft has come and gone.
Though there are still another six rounds to go over the next two days, the first round will always represent the best opportunity for teams to find the instant-impact players they desire.
Here's a quick look at each of the first 32 picks:
1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - QB Jameis Winston
It's the most important position in football and the Bucs needed one in the worst way. Winston was an obvious choice.
2. Tennessee Titans - QB Marcus Mariota
After months of trade speculation, the Titans made the right move in staying put at No. 2 and getting a potential franchise quarterback.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars - DE Dante Fowler Jr.
Jacksonville had an impressive 45 sacks last season. Expect Fowler to push that total near the top of the league in 2015.
4. Oakland Raiders - WR Amari Cooper
Several other players could have also made sense here, but it would be tough to argue against picking Cooper. Derek Carr now has his No. 1 target.
5. Washington Redskins - OT Brandon Scherff
Somewhat of a surprise, but the Redskins needed an upgrade on the offensive line. Other than Trent Williams, the cupboard is bare.
6. New York Jets - DE Leonard Williams
While the Jets were already stacked on the defensive front, getting the best defensive player in the draft at No. 6 is a steal.
7. Chicago Bears - WR Kevin White
With Brandon Marshall gone, White was a natural fit across from Alshon Jeffery. Corners around the league beware.
8. Atlanta Falcons - DE Vic Beasley
The Falcons finally get the pass rusher they've been missing. Beasley should be a force coming off the edge in Dan Quinn's defense.
9. New York Giants - OT Ereck Flowers
Giants went with need over best player on the board. The pressure is on Flowers to make sure they don't regret it.
10. St. Louis Rams - RB Todd Gurley
This pick may have been surprising, but there really isn't much to dislike. Gurley has the ability to be one of the NFL's best running backs.
11. Minnesota Vikings - CB Trae Waynes
The Vikings reportedly wanted a big-time corner if they were going to even consider trading Adrian Peterson. Can Waynes fill that role?
12. Cleveland Browns - DT Danny Shelton
A rare instance where the best player available matches a team need, Shelton will step in to shore up the NFL's worst run defense.
13. New Orleans Saints - OT Andrus Peat
After bringing in Max Unger and now drafting Peat, the Saints have quietly revamped their offensive line.
14. Miami Dolphins - WR DeVante Parker
Yet another example of a team standing pat and letting the draft come to them. The Dolphins get the impact wide receiver they wanted all along.
15. San Diego Chargers - RB Melvin Gordon
A bold move moving up to grab a running back. With Ryan Mathews gone, expect Gordon to be a workhorse in the Chargers' backfield.
16. Houston Texans - CB Kevin Johnson
Adding to a thin secondary was an important move to complement a dominant defensive front. Johnson is pro-ready.
17. San Francisco 49ers - DE Arik Armstead
The 49ers got the pass rusher they wanted. If Aldon Smith returns to form, San Francisco's defense will continue to be no fun to play against.
18. Kansas City Chiefs - CB Marcus Peters
This may be a risky pick given Peters' troubles at Washington, but he has true shut-down coverage ability.
19. Cleveland Browns - OL Cameron Erving
A questionable pick considering Alex Mack is a solid center and the Browns had other needs. Perhaps they know something we don't.
20. Philadelphia Eagles - WR Nelson Agholor
Chip Kelly not trading up for Mariota will be viewed by many as a disappointment, but Agholor is a playmaker.
21. Cincinnati Bengals - OT Cedric Ogbuehi
A solid pick that should solidify the offensive line. Andy Dalton will be happy about this one.
22. Pittsburgh Steelers - LB Bud Dupree
The Steelers appropriately took advantage of the opportunity to address a massive need after Dupree fell to this spot.
23. Denver Broncos - DE Shane Ray
DeMarcus Ware, Von Miller and now Ray will be attacking opposing quarterbacks. Denver could soon be known for more than offense.
24. Arizona Cardinals - OT D.J. Humphries
Keeping Carson Palmer healthy will be key to the Cardinals' offensive success. Humphries should start at right tackle from day one.
25. Carolina Panthers - Shaq Thompson
Adding Thompson to Luke Kuechly and Thomas Davis gives the Panthers a linebacking corps to envy.
26. Baltimore Ravens - WR Breshad Perriman
The Ravens lost Torrey Smith to free agency, and Perriman provides similar vertical ability on the outside. Look for Joe Flacco to stretch the field quite a bit.
27. Dallas Cowboys - CB Byron Jones
A great value pick here and fills a tremendous need. The Cowboys have questions at corner that need to be answered.
28. Detroit Lions - G Laken Tomlinson
It's not the most exciting pick, but this was extremely necessary given the Lions' troubles on the offensive line.
29. Indianapolis Colts - WR Phillip Dorsett
Another receiver? Really?
30. Green Bay Packers - S Damarious Randall
The Packers appear to view Randall as a cornerback and, with his ability in coverage, this could work out well.
31. New Orleans Saints - LB Stephone Anthony
A big body that will help a woeful Saints defense. Rob Ryan will be ecstatic to work Anthony into his schemes.
32. New England Patriots - DT Malcom Brown
The Patriots have long made a habit of trading back at the end of the first round, but that wasn't necessary with a player like Brown still on the board.
